We look forward to seeing you at the 21st Australian Barley Technical Symposium (ABTS) being held at Crowne Plaza Adelaide from 12 – 15th August 2024.
Pre-Symposium Field Tour
Pre-Symposium Field Tour will be held on Sunday 11th August 2024. The Field Trip will include an overnight stay with sites visits, accommodation and catering.
The field tour is $600 per person, not included in the price of Symposium registration and will include catering, accommodation and transport to and from the sites.

Welcome Reception
The ABTS Welcome Reception will be held on Monday 12th August from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at Koomo Restaurant, Crowne Plaza Adelaide. For further information visit the Koomo Restaurant website here. The Welcome Reception is included in the cost of the Symposium registration (excluding Student Registration), for students and any additional tickets for guests can be purchased for $100.
Informal Networking Dinner
The Informal Networking Dinner for this year’s ABTS will be held at Little Bang Brewery on Henry St, Stepney, SA from 6:30pm – 11:00pm on Tuesday 13th August. For further information visit the Little Bang Brewery website here. The Informal Networking Dinner is included in the cost of the Symposium registration, any additional tickets for guests can be purchased for $100.
ABTS Symposium Dinner
The ABTS Symposium Dinner will held at the Sanctuary, Adelaide Zoo on Thursday 15th August from 7:00pm – 11:00pm. Visit the Adelaide Zoo Website for further information. The Symposium Dinner is included in the cost of the Symposium registration, any additional tickets can for guests can be purchased for $150.
